Hawthorne Davies, Encryption Specialists
The company was formed by Dr William McMullen Hawthorne and Jason Davies as a result
of their paths crossing in 2006, when they realised that their mindsets in relation to
encryption technology were extremely complementary.
The combination of Dr Hawthorne’s undoubted mathematical skills, experience and unique
understanding of encryption techniques and philosophies and Jason Davies’ ability to both
understand Dr Hawthorne’s encryption logic and to be able to produce viable commercial
products from that logic was the basis of the company being formed.
The resulting flagship product, Crypteto, has, as its base, their unique algorithm Touareg.
Hawthorne Davies is in an extremely strong position to offer variants on these products to
meet special customer demands.
